Fredy Rangel currently works on specific projects related to the local context of Guatemala City using various media such as drawing, painting and photography. He investigates and directs his interest in issues of social, psychological, political and cultural interest. He plots out his pieces with unconventional elements, using tools from other disciplines, taking technical aspects of design and aesthetics and applying them to the relationship that exists between the ways of thinking and interacting with location and the human being.

He is an artist with training in contemporary art movements, his main interests revolve around studies in art and psychology in the multiple accompaniments made with a social approach, experienced through the processes of transformation in people, assimilating different realities and conceptions of life.
